Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will leave for Turkey on Friday for his second visit this year, where he will meet his Turkish counterpart.

As per details, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is visiting at the invitation of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Prime Minister will inaugurate the third PNS Khyber with the Turkish President at Istanbul Shipyard, while the two leaders will discuss bilateral ties.

Sources say Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will also discuss issues related to the region and the regional situation during his visit, while he will also meet Turkish business representatives.

Pakistan and Turkey have deep religious, cultural and historical ties, mutual visits at the highest leadership level are an expression of Turkey’s eternal friendship, Shehbaz Sharif has visited Turkey in May this year as well.

It may be noted that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was to leave for Turkey on November 24, but due to important appointments in the country, he postponed his trip and will now leave tomorrow.
